Abstract
Primary malignant neoplasm of the small intestine is very rare condition and it¢¥s diagnosis is often made by exploration.
Malignant lymphoma is most common in the ileum which contains large amount of lymphoid tissue.
Author have experienced a case of malignant lymphoma, reticulum cell type in a 61-years-old Korean male. Under the clinical diagnosis of G-I perforation, Abdomen was explored and found neoplastic growth in the jejunum. The main mass was identical with hen¢¥s egg in size and surface ulceration. The tumor was perforated in the center of ulceration, and adhered to the transverse colon.
The mucosa of the colon was free from neoplatic invasion.
Early and accurate diagnosis of small bowel tumor is seldom achived because of the lack of manifestations in the early state and rarity of this disease, thus caution should be payed for the diagnosis of this disease: detail history taking, adequate physical examination and X-ray study.
