Epidemiological Study of the Children´s Acedent on Choon Chon Area -Object O.P.D. Patient-

Abstract
|
|
|
A epidemiological study was conducted by author 30 clinical recorded patient -with the children accident at Lim´s clinic during the period from Jan.1,1973 to Feb.31,1974 in Choon Chun Area.
The results obtained from this study are summarized as follows;
1) The falling accidents were shown the highest rates 49.2% in the accident.
2) The principle causes of each accident type were as follows; 48.3% by in falls accidents, 70.2% by bicycle in the traffic accident 74.4% by boiling water in the burns, 62,9% by dog in the bite accidents 53.3% by esophageal foreign body especially coin 33.3% and 37% by carbon monoxide poisoning in the poisoning accidents.
3) The homestic accidents were shown the highest rate .as 43.3% in the accident
area and the highest level as 23.3% during from 12 N to 3 P.M.
4) Majority of accident´s age were from 2 to 5 years old (52.9%), boy´s
.accidents were higher (70.7%) than the girls.
5) Cured is 88.9% and head injury is the highest rate as 42.1% in site of injured.
