A Case of Severe Bradycardia Following Succinylcholine

Abstract
|

|
The author report here a case of severe sustained bradycardia following succinylcholine (50mg, I.V.) during a radical abdominal hysterectomy for a 50-yearold woman with cervical cancer of uterus. The bradycardia could be managed more successfully. with ephedrine (20mg, I.V. and 20mg, I.M.) than atropine(total dose-1.5mg, I.V.).
