Study about the Behavior Characteristics of Athletes

Abstract
|
|
|
The purpose of this study was to identify the behavior characteristics of athletes by interviewing middle and high school teachers of Seoul and Daejeon area. The following conclusions were reached
1. The recognition level about sincerity and humility of athletes was modest, but there were significant difference between male and female teacher of Seoul area(p < 0.05).
2. The recognition level about athletes responsibility awareness was modest, but there were significant difference among 4 teacher groups(p<0.01).
3. The recognition level about athletes pattern of understanding and helping other people was positive, and there was significant difference between Seoul and Daejeon male teachers(p < 0.05).
4. The recognition level of independence, problem-setting and problem-solving ability was significantly different between Seoul and Daejeon female teachers, and between Seoul male and female teachers, respectively(p<0.01).
5. The recognition level of athletes law-abiding pattern was significantly different between male and female teachers of Seoul(p<0.05) and the recognition level of their impartiality was significantly different between female teachers of Seoul and Daejeon(p< 0.01), respectively.
6. The recognition level of athletes persuasive power was significantly different between male teachers of Seoul and Daejeon, and between male and female teachers of Daejeon (p0.01), respectively.
