Studies on the Tooth-Color of the Koreans


Abstract
The author studied the teeth-color on 2,525 Korean national(Male 1,397 and Female 1,128).
The study was applied to the following eight age groups, a group of less than age 13, a group of age I, a group of age 21~27, a group of age 28^-34, a group of age 35~41, a group of age 42~48, a of age 49^55, a group of more than age 56.
An object of observation with shade guide "fTrubyte New Rue" was the right upper central incisor.
Specially, in the midst of the Koreans, many fact that the colors were lighter than No. 61 of the shade guide was invented. But the author couldn¢¥t compare between the Koreans and foreigners.
Because the method of study of learned men of each nation differd from.
The results were following :
1. The more age grows in both males and females, the more tooth-color darkens, groups of each age that male was except between a group of less than age 13 and a group of age 14~20, between a group of age 42~48 and that of age 49~55, female was except between a group of less than age 13 and a group of age 14~20, between a group of age 28~34 and that of age 35~41.
2. The tooth-color of male was darker than that of female.
