Histopathological Studies on the Effects of the Cancer Growth Inhibitory Factor with Local Administration to the Transplanted Ehrlich Ascites Cancer of the Mouse

Abstract
The local administration of the cancer growth inhibitory factor extracted from the liver of rat directly to the transplanted Ehrlich ascites cancer of the mouse was also notably effective for the inhibition of the growth of the cancer tissue under a statistical support, as was in that of the systemic administration. The inhibitory effects are, such as:
1. The reduction of the mitotic activity of the tumor cells, enhanced fibrosis with lymphocytic infiltration and increase of cohesiveness and cell disintegration in the tissues of the experimental group in contrast with those of the control group(of saline injection).
2. A discontinuous increment of the cancer inhibitory effect was induced by the administration of the continuous increment of the dose of the factor administered.
