A Case of Myxosarcoma

Abstract

|
This is a report of a case of myxosarcoma de developed in the plantar region of the right forefoot. The case was a 27 years old man who complained of only bulky mass in the right forefoot and macrodactylia of 2nd and 3d toes for two months.
Roentgenological and all laboratory tests are within normal limits.
Wide excision was performed because patient refused the suggested amputation. Mass was measured 9 cm by 6cm. in size and cut surface was appeared to be yellowish-red in color and soft in consistency. The diagnosis was confirmed as myxosarcoma by microscopic examination.
