Comparative Studies of Esterase Isozyme in Various Organs of Rat and Mouse

Abstract
|
|
|
The esterase isozyme in the brain, liver, pancreas, spleen, heart and kidney of Rat, Mouse were separated by means of Agar gel electrophoresis, and their esterases were compared.
In male Rat tested, Esterase isozyme of the brain, liver, pancreas, spleen, heart and kidney exhi￢bited 4, 4, 3, 3, 3, and 4 bands each other.
In female Rat tested, it´s kidney was shown that one more band appeared in male kidney, and other organs similar to male.
The male mouse esterase isozyme of the brain, liver, pancreas, spleen, heart and kidney exhibited 3, 5, 3, 3, 3 and 4 bands each other.
In female mouse tested, it´s kidney was shown that one more band appeared in male kidney, and other organs similar to male.
The result of experiment, the bands were classified into six groups.
