Abstract

|
Xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis is a unusual form of renal infection in which masses of large clear cells are found adjacent to area of chronic suppuration. This disease is a rare condition which has no pathognomonic manifestations or characteristic physical findings. A case of xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis is added to the literatures.
