Abstract

The computed tomography scan of the spine is a radiological technique that shows a cross section of the spine.
The author perform the computed tomography of the spine with 5 patients of narrow spinal canal syndrome.
The computed tomography scan of the narrow spinal canal syndrome with degenerative spondyiosis shows the hypertrophy of the articular facet joint and spondylotic recess which can constrict the spinal canal.
The author believe the computed tomography of the spine to be simple, non-invasive, most reliable radiological technique that allows cross-sectional visualization of the vertebral canal.
