Observation on Whole Life of Laboratory Animals


Abstract
This score has been obtained by observing the whole life of laboratory animals were Sprague-Dawley rat, Spontaneously Hypertensive Rat, DDY mouse, gpc mouse and ICR mouse which were part inbred as conventional experimental animals in the Dai Han Laboratory Animal Research Center.
1) In the case of SD rats, it turned out that for the male ones, the whole life was 70 weeks of age at the shortest, 134 weeks of ate at the longest, and the average life span was 104 weeks of age, while for the female ones, 58, 81 and 73 Weeks of age, respectively.
2) In the case of SHR rats, it tanned out that for the male ones, the whole life was 61 weeks of age at the shortest, 72 weeks of ate at the longest, and the average life span was 68 weeks of age, while for the female ones, 74, 90 and 80 weeks of age, respectively.
3) In the case of DDY mice, it turned out that for the male ones, the whole life was 101 weeks of age at the shortest, 137 weeks of ate at the longest, and the average life span was 115 weeks of age, while for the female ones, 74, 142 and 115 weeks of age, respectively.
4) In the case of gpc mice, it turned out that for the male ones, the whole life was 76 weeks of age at the shortest, 158weeks of ate at the longest, and the average life span was 113 weeks of age, while for the female ones, 101, 148 and 125 weeks of age, respectively.
5) In the case of ICR mice, it turned out that for the male ones, the whole life was 40 weeks of age at the shortest, 85 weeks of ate at the longest, and the average life span was 58 weeks of age, while for the female ones, 40, 83 and 59 weeks of age, respectively.
