An Experimental Study on the Effect of the Programmed Diabetes Education


Abstract
This study was done to identify the effect of the programmed diabetes education.
The subjects of the study was 77 diabetes patients who entered out-patient in Seoul National University hospital between 20th of Aug to 28th of Dec. 1985,
28 patients were determined as a experimental group except dropouts of the educational program. 28 patients were determined as a control group except dropouts.
The homogeneity of the two group, and the difference between pretest and posttest were statistically processed with t-test.
The results were:
1. The homogeneity between experimental and control group was accepted from none-significance statistically (p>o. 05)
2. There was a significance between experimental and control group in the knowledge level of diabetic care(p<. 01).
