Abstract

|
The giant cell tumor of tendon sheath is-the second most common subcutaneous tumor of the hand due to unknown etiology.
A 53 years old woman who had recurrent giant cell tumor of tedon sheath was managed by complete excision of multiple tumor mass and tendon ´sheath.
We found that the recurrent case of giant cell tumor of tendon sheath showed lobulation and invasion of the capsule as prominent features, and the complete excision of tumor and tendon sheath should be performed for prevention of recurrence.
