The Stability of Serum Total LDH, LDH isoenzymes and γ-GT during Storage

Abstract
|
|
|
The author investigated the stability of total LDH, LDH isoenzymes and r-GT during the storage in different temperature. According to the serum GPT levels, about thirty samples of sera were pooled to three groups and the portions of each group were stored at room temperature (18∼20℃), in a refrigerator(0∼4℃) and in a deep freezer (-18℃∼-20℃).
Then the activities of serum total LDH, LDH isoenzymes and r-GT were mesured with intervals over 5 weeks. The results as following.
1. The activity of serum total LDH was stable for 4 days at room temperature.
2. weeks in a refrigerator, and 5 weeks in a deep freezer.
2. The activity of LDH4 or LDHS began to be lost after 7 days at room temp erature and in a refrigerator and 5 weeks in a deep freezer.
3. The activity of serum r-GT was stable for 6 days at room temperature, 4 weeks in a refrigerator and 5 weeks in a deep freezer.
Different from what has been told, it was concluded that the activities of total LDH, LDH isoenzymes and r-GT were most stable in the deep freezer.
