Clinical and Statistical Observations of Abdominal Trauma

Abstract
53 cases of fractures admitted to the Dept of the Orthopedic Surgery of Han-I1 Hospital during 5 years from 1963 to 1967, were reviewed and analyzed its complications.
1. The most common cause of the pelvic fractures was road traffic accident (66%).
2. It is-useful to classifying pelvic fractures into groups, since the most serious injuries are seen primarily with bilateral fractures of the pubic rami, fractures of the hemi pelvis and central dislocation of the hip.
.3. Almost 60% of pelvic fractures are ¢¥complicated by a wide variety * of other fractures and injuries to soft tissues.
