A Precious Case of Metallic Foreign Body in Ethmoid and Sphenoid Sinus

Abstract

Recently, authors experienced a precious case of a piece of aluminum chopstik in ethmoid and sphenoid sinus of right side was observed in a 17 year old Korean boy. The patients had not
any disagreeabl symptoms and signs as well as foreign body reaction due to above substance for these 8 years.
X-ray finding is the most valuable diagnostic methode for foreign body in paranasal sinuses. The metallic foreign body in ethmoid and sphenoid sinus of right side was removed by CaldwellLuc´s approach.
