A Study of the Psychological Well-being of Employed Women with the Lower Grades in Elementary Schoool

Abstract

|
This study was designed to identify the factors influencing psychological well-being of employed women with lower grades in elementary school. The sample was one hundred fifty subjects who completed a self administered survey. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson¡¯s correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression with the SPSS Win 18.0 program. The results of this study, influencing factors of employed women with lower grades in elementary school psychological well-being were job stress, mother¡¯s monthly income, parenting stress, type of job, number of children, and weekly working hours. These variables explained 54.2% of psychological well-being. Job stress among these variables had a great influencing factor. Based on the results of the present study, there are some ways to promote employed women psychological wellbeing such as organize work environment, interpersonal relationships
