A case of Gastric Ulcer Bleeding in Healthy Full-Term Neonate

Abstract

|
|
Upper gastrointestinal bleedings in neonate are unusual and gastric ulcer bleedings in term neonate without risk factors are very rare and the causes are not clear. We report a 3-day-old neonate who presented with upper gastrointestinal bleeding caused by gastric ulcers, which were diagnosed by esophago-gastro-duodenoscopy and were successfully treated by conservative management with H2 receptor antagonist without any complications.
