Corneal transplantation is the one of the most successful organ transplantation and performed more frequently than any other organ transplantation. Development of new corneal preservation media, fine microsurgial technique, and appropriate post
operative management resulted in high success rate of corneal transplantatio. However, 10-30% of corneal transplantation is still failed with various reasons. The concept, surgical technique and complications of corneal transplantation are
discussed.
