Abstract

T cell subsre specific cDNAs. L2C25B(MIP-1α) and L2C25C(MIP-1β) were expressed by using bovine papilloma virus and baculovirus expression system. Both of recombinant proteins were biochemically, immunologically and functionally identical to the native proteins. The transcripts of MIP-1α were inducible by LPS stimulation in murine macrophage cell line. MIP-1α mRNA atso was expressed in murine bore marrow cells and spleen cells which was not increased by ferritin or lactoferrin stimulation. rMIP-1α induced proinflammatory cytokine IL-1β mRNA from human PMNs. But MIP-1α mRNA was not inducible by PMA or IL-1β stimulated PMNs.
