Abstract

|
Neuropathic pain is defined as pain initiated or caused by a primary lesion or dysfunction in the nervous system. The current pharmacological treatments for neuropathic pain are not effective in many patients. The objective of this article is to review currently available pharmacological treatments for the neuropathic pain.
