A Study on the Characteristics of Day Hospital Patients

Abstract

|
48 SNMH day hospital patients who had been admitted more than 2 months during the period of Jan. 1 1987 to Jun. 30 1987 were assessed according to their personal and clinical characteristics. Day hospital patients seemed to have somewhat higher educational background and socioeconomic status. The average length of stay was significantly longer in the day hospital patients. There should be certain strategies of government base for the rehabilitation of long-stay day hospital patients.
