|
Psychodrama is a form of psychotherapy that uses acting to help a patient solve his problems. We may use psychodrama method as individual or group psychotherapy in treatment of the psycho-tic patients. To treat psychotic patients, we must understand the psychotic state and the three aspects of psychodrama, psycho-drama, sociometry and group psychotherapy.
In psychodrama situation, self-presentation fosters a re-organization of the patient¢¥s imagined world, and it becomes possible to understand.the.patient through his productions.
Therapeutic measures can then be directed toward helping the patient deal with some of the life tasks from which he withdrew, and offering a number of alternate ways of meeting his problem situation.
