We report a case of unilateral peripheral ulcerative keratitis associated with autoimmune hapatitis. A 55-year-old woman was admitted due to pain of the left eye. She had history of autoimmune hepatitis and steroid-induced glaucoma. Ocular examination showed an epithelial defect stained with fluorescein, stromal melting, and ciliary injection in the superonasal limbus of the left eye. Tests for antinuclear antibody, anti-smooth muscle antibody, antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody, and anti-double-stranded deoxyribonucleic acid antibody were positive. The special stain and cultures for micro-organisms from the corneal lesion were negative. She was treated with topical and systemic steroids. Three months after treatment, the peripheral corneal lesion was healed completely.
