Abstract

|
|
Arthritis, tenosynovitis and bursitis are frequently encountered painful conditions in clinics. Comprehensive therapy with physical therapy, exercise, NSAIDs, analgesics and peripheral joint and tenosynovial injection are widely used and accepted modalities in treatment of arthritis and tenosynovitis. In this review, the indications, drugs (action, selection, dosage), contraindications, complications, practical guidelines and techniques for injection therapy are discussed.
