Abstract

|
Painful shoulder is a common complaint in the musculoskeletal disorder. The cause of shoulder pain can be dived by location, periarticular disorder and intra-articular disorder. Rotator cuff injury is most frequent disease in periarticular disorder. Treatments for rotator cuff disease are consists of surgical and non-surgical options. There are limited nonsurgical options and medications approved for the treatment of rotator cuff disease. In this article, an attempt is made to review the non-surgical treatment of painful shoulder.
