Abstract
Scleroderma is a chronic disease that causes skin thickening, and can involve fibrosis and other types of damage to internal organs. The two broad categories are localized scleroderma which indicates distinct skin lesions and systemic sclerosis which indicates more uniform skin involvement and the potential for internal organ disease. In case that skin lesion involved on joint, range of motion exercise is essential to prevent joint contracture and to maintain range of motion. We experienced a 5-years old female patient presented with localized scleroderma. She had multiple skin lesion that was located on left trunk, shoulder and upper limb. Although motor strength and sense were preserved, she had a limitation of motion in left upper limb due to joint contracture. Left arm length was shorter compared to right side.
