Abstract

|
The elbow joint is a synovial hinge joint of the upper extremity. Soft tissues of the elbow consists of ligament, tendon, nerve, and muscle. Ultrasonographic examination of the elbow has become important in the diagnostic tool of the soft tissue structures and the elbow joint. But the ultrasonographic examination of the elbow requires an adequate understanding of the anatomy of the elbow. This article summarises the ultrasonographic anatomy of the elbow.
