Abstract

Paralabral cyst is an uncommon cause of shoulder pain. Asymptomatic cysts require no treatment unless symptoms develop. Some of cysts are cause of suprascapular nerve entrapment that produce pain and shoulder dysfunction. We present 3 patients of paralabral cyst with suprascapular nerve compession. MRI revealed a mass in all patients. Ultrasonography could detect cysts on spinoglenoid notch but could not reveal the cysts on the anterior or superior aspect of glenohumeral joints. Ultrasonography could be helpful for screening paralabral cysts causing suprascapular neuropathy as well as rotator cuff pathology and other shoulder problems
