Abstract
This study selected interpersonal trauma experiences among adults in their 20s living in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do to determine the impact of the two strategies of cognitive reassessment on the responsive aggression, positive and negative emotions of those who experienced interpersonal trauma. A total of 46 people were selected during the screening process, excluding those with sexual trauma experience, IES-R-K score of 25 or more, and those with trauma experience within 3 months or more than 10 years ago, but 3 people were eliminated from each group, and 20 people in the detached reappraisal group and 20 people in the positive reappraisal group were random assignment. In this study, the protocol of Kivity and Huppert (2016) was modified and participants were introduced to ¡°writing that thinks from a different perspective on a painful event that has been caused by another person.¡± The study was conducted in the order of 1) interpersonal trauma recall 2) re-evaluation training 3) diary for 7 days 4) post-verification, 1) and 2) procedures were conducted face-to-face/non-face, and 3) procedures were analyzed online only. As a result of the study, reactive aggression significantly decreased in positive reappraisal and detached reappraisal. In addition, the positive reappraisal showed a significant decrease in negative emotions and an increase in positive emotions, and the detached reappraisal showed a significant decrease in negative emotions, but no significant change in positive emotions. Through the results of this study, it can be predicted that both cognitive reappraisal measures can be used for those who have experienced interpersonal trauma who show reactive aggression. In addition, people with low positive emotions may be able to intervene to increase positive emotions by using Positive Reappraisal, and those with high negative emotions can intervene to lower negative emotions using Positive Reappraisal and Detached Reappraisal treatment.
