A Thesis about standard of injured workers’ return to work : A literature review

Abstract

Korea Workers’ Compensation & Welfare Service has conducted survey of injured workers’ return to work ratio from the year of 2002. Return to work ratio of injured workers’ has improved from 40% in 2002 to 53.7% in 2008. In spite of quantitative extension, discussion on the management of qualitative employment status is still necessary. This paper was to examine concept of economically active population, hours worked, types of employment, coverage of data source, reference period, periodicity of data collection around ILO(International Labor Organization) and Korea National Statical Office standard. The purpose of this paper is to improve gathering of statical information like qualitative employment indicator in terms of decent work and political?clinical reference in return to work of injured workers’.
