Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of personal-related factors, vocational rehabilitation and employment-related factors and job intention of adult with disabilities. 270 people who were adult with disability participated in this study.
The results of chi-square analysis revealed that there is a significant relationship between personal-related factors, vocational rehabilitation and employment-related factors and job intention of adult with disabilities. The results of binary logistic regression analysis revealed that a significant relationship exists between job intention and age, disability acceptance, public assistance, average income. And negative relationship Thus this study hinted that financial support for disabled people must be offered together employment service.
This study will contribute to developing knowledge about adult with disabilities"s characteristics and provide practical implications for intervention strategies related to promoting their positive job intention and employment.
