The development of the personal performance indicator of vocational rehabilitation training for the career and vocation education of students with disabilities

Abstract
The purpose of the study was to develop the performance indicator regarding a vocational rehabilitation training for the educational success of students with disabilities in secondary school curriculum. Also, the developed indictor will be utilized to support the career and vocation education in schools. The study implemented a content validity of preliminary question items with 19 special education teachers. Then, the study evaluated a criterion validity, reliability, factor difference threshold on 1,044 items of main indicator including ¡®vacational readiness¡¯ and ¡®vocational functioning¡¯ with 190 students with disabilities. In the results, first, the 1,044 performance indicator items were correlated and developed one construct. Second, the internal consistency reliability was .998 on ¡®vacational readiness¡¯ and .999 on ¡®vocational functioning¡¯. Thus, the internal consistency reliability was high. Finally, the factor difference threshold of the indicator item on disability level was meaningful both on ¡®vacational readiness¡¯ and ¡®vocational functioning¡¯.
