The Study of the Factors Affecting Business¡¯ Satisfaction on the People with Disabilities

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting business¡¯s satisfaction on the people with disabilities(PWD). The sample consists of 1,579 businesses participating in the ¡®2010 Business Disabled Employee Status Study¡¯ of the Korea Disabled Employment Public Corporation. This study conducted descriptive analysis, t-tests, analysis of variance(ANOVA) and multiple regression to examine the influencing factors of business¡¯s satisfaction on the PWD.
The results of analysis are as follows; business¡¯s satisfaction level is significantly higher when the business in located in the major cities and they hire PWD through general process. In addition, the easier business feels the employment process of PWD, the higher satisfaction of business is. In terms of task characteristics, high skill requirement and low physical danger are associated with high satisfaction. However, the use of supported employment service is not the significant factor. According to the result of this study, some practical implications to improve business¡¯s satisfaction the PWD are suggested.
