Abstract
The purpose of this study is to suggest political and practical implications for diminishing burnout of Center for Independent Living(CIL) employees, through examining the mediating effect of job satisfaction between job stress and burnout. To collect study data, an e-mail survey was conducted upon 150 employees of 75 CILs in Korea. Multiple regression was employed for mediating effect analysis using SPSS 19.0. The analysis results revealed that job stress had a significant effect on burnout directly and indirectly through job satisfaction. These results imply that job stress and job satisfaction need to be emphasized as a strategy to diminish burnout of CIL employees.
