Abstract
The purpose of this investigation is to identify factors that impact the quality of employment among female employees with disabilities. To this end, 296 female employees with disabilities who are included in people with disability employment panel dataset, developed by Korea Employment Agency for the people with disabilities. Findings suggested that overall quality of employment among female employees with disabilities were relatively low. It was also found that those who do not receive welfare benefits, hold administrative or managerial position, work fulltime, and hold jobs that match with their aptitude show higher quality of employment.
Based on the findings it is recommended that career development and job placement services are needed in order to improve an employment quality among female employees with disabilities.
Finally, an integrative service delivery model that link between public assistance, rehabilitation services, and job placement would be warranted.
