Abstract

|
The objective of this research is on improvement ways of vocational rehabilitation services in Korea, making a comparison of government data and primary data as a part of measures to promote integrated employment of an individual with the most significant disabilities. Based on the results of the studies, the improvement of vocational rehabilitation are as follows.
First of all, it is necessary to monitor and manage as a control tower. Second, it is need to integration between the support service for the most significant disabilities and vocational rehabilitation services of community rehabilitation centers. Third, it is necessary re-structure of the vocational rehabilitation services for people with development disabilities. Fourth, it is need to integrate Sheltered workshop’s evaluation. Fifth, it is need to expand the scope of support through networking the vocational rehabilitation services for people with development disabilities and unemployment policies. Sixth, it is need to introduce a system of priority of vocational rehabilitation services for people with development disabilities. Seventh, it is need to build a case management system. Finally, it is need to change awareness the vocational rehabilitation services for people with development disabilities and approach skills.
