Kim Ja-Young

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze how self-efficacy, self-esteem, stress, and disability acceptance, which are psycho-emotional factors, affect the employment of people with developmental disabilities. This research executed logistic regression analysis using the 3st year data of second wave 2018 Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled(PSED). We found that self-efficacy, self-esteem had positive effect on employment status, while stress had negative effect on employment status. On the other hand, we found that disability acceptance didn't have significant effect on the employment status. Based on the result of this study, it is necessary to develop and implement various programs that utilize the positive aspects of self-efficacy and self-esteem. In addition, it requires that education as well as program to improve stress coping skills.
