Abstract

|
Retina is a organ that represents a part of central nervous systems. Thus, fundus examination presents not only ocular disorders but also systemic diseases or intracranial diseases. Furthermore, fundus examination is a convenient and inexpensive method. Retinal vascular structures can be investigated by fluorescein angiography (FAG). When it comes to evaluate the function o f retina, electroretinography (ERG) can give a lot of information about each layer of the retina.
