This study examined the changes in the income-related health inequality from 2005 to 2010 applied to EQ-5D. The health concentration index was used as the main measurement tool, and ir was decomposed by two ways. It was decomposed into six different dimensions of EQ-5D as well as into their causes. The main results of this study are the followings. First, The health CJ was .0209 in 2005 and reached its peak(.0264) in 2007. But it has been gradually declined after then and indicated .0199 in 2010. Second, the change of CI from 2005 to 2010 was -.0010, and anxiety /depression was most contributing to it among the sub-dimensions of EQ-5D. But mobility made the income-related health inequality increase in the same period. Fourth, the CI decomposition into its causes indicated that age was the most contributing factor to the income-related health inequality. But the change of CI from 2005 to 2010 was most affected by socioeconomic factors such as income, occupation etc. But the contribution of socioeconomic factors to CI has been gradually declined. Finally, the health gaps between the people in the urban area and rural ones significantly affected on the increase of health inequality in 2010. Therefore, it is necessary to pay more attention to regional differences in the health-related policy making process.
