Abstract

|
Objectives: This study investigated the relationship between smartphone dependence and health-related factors, dietary habits, and oral-related factors in adolescents.
Methods: The data from the 16th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Survey (2020) was analyzed using SPSS 18.0.
Results: In the smartphone overdependence group, there were significant relationships in health-related factors, dietary habits, and oral-related factors, and the higher the dependence, the more oral symptoms were.
Conclusions: Strategies to reduce adolescents' dependence on smartphones and various approaches to support oral and health behaviors are needed.
