This study is to inquire the essentials of change in sexual opinion of sex offenders. Sociodrama was carried out for 9 sessions with the sex offenders who participated in the correction?treatment program by the court order at a correctional facility from March 2013 till September 2014. Interview data were analyzed by Giorgi`s phenomenological method. The more male-dominant sexual opinion and the more dualizing women into faithful or a slut, the higher potentiality of sexual violence. Sociodrama is expected to reduce the actual doings of sexual violence. The result found 4 categroes of sex opinion of the sex offenders, 9 sub-categories, and 21 concepts. Four categories are ¡®a Scarlet letter man called sex offender with his family also with a Scarlet letter¡¯, ¡®an idolizing Macho male, dualizing women¡¯ prior to the sociodrama intervention; ¡®dissolution of patriarchal system and destructive response of nervous male¡¯ during the intervention; and ¡®extension of thinking of the world as all in one¡¯ after the intervention. Since the distorted sexual opinion of the sex offenders resulted from the male-dominated sex opinion and dualizing women, it is suggested that a policy is needed to enhance the social culture to nourish and foster sex, love and marriage to identify as one.
