Han Cheon-Woo
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether a sociodrama program for emotional workers is effective in reducing emotional labor, job stress, and burnout and improving job satisfaction. To this purpose, 14 experimental groups and 14 control groups were selected from nursing home employees in Jinju to conduct the experiment. The experimental group had a five-session program (25 hours in total) once a week for five hours. To verify the effectiveness of the program, pre-test and post-test were conducted. The collected data were tested for the homogeneity of the two groups, and the interaction effect between the pre- and post-experimental and control groups was verified through SPSS 27.0. As a result of the analysis, there was a significant difference in all dependent variables except job satisfaction in the analysis of the interaction effect between the time point and the group. The results of this study suggest that the sociodrama program is effective as an intervention method to improve emotional workers' personal psychological resources and increase organizational effectiveness. As an intervention method for solving problems caused by emotional labor, the sociodrama program, which can be applied with various variables, can be used as an intervention method for solving problems and preventing problems caused by emotional labor, and the possibility of expansion can be reconsidered.
