Trends in Domestic Research on Family Members with Married Immigrant Women

Abstract

|
Purpose: This study was conducted to analyze a trend in domestic research on family members with married immigrant women.
Methods: Relevant database (riss4u) was searched up to June 2017, and a total of 116 abstracts and full-text articles were assessed according to publication type, studies¡¯ fields, designs, main themes, and participants.
Results: Of the 116 studies, 67 (57.8%) were for thesis studies for a degree, 49 (42.2%) for academic journals. There were 88 (75.9%) quantitative studies, 28 (24.1%). The most frequently used study design was a correlational study. The majority of study participants were Child. Most themes were psychosocial problems, education, intervention.
Conclusion: It is necessary to establish an integrated education and welfare management system in which married immigrant children can improve school and social adaptation. It proposes to develop and apply a program to promote the wholistic health of the married women s families.
