A Study on Preference of Semi-permanent Makeup Techniques and Tools

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the preference semi-permanent makeup. The survey on the this study was conducted to 345 semi-permanent practitioners. The results of the study are as follows. The most frequently used technique in semi-permanent cosmetic procedures was an embo technique(31.9%), followed by a resin technique(25.7%) and a combo technique(22.6%). In addition, in terms of working experience, an embo technique was the most frequent for those with more than 6 months(38.2%), more than 1 year(34.6%), more than 2 years(33.3%), and more than 6 years(29.6%). A resin technique was highest among those with more than 4-5 years(31.3%). The most preferred tools and techniques were an embo technique and a diagonal needle(22.3%), followed by a resin technique, a 3R-5R needle(16.8%), a machine technique, and a 1R-3R needle(11.8%).
