The Communication Experience of between Nursing Students and Nurses

Abstract

|
Purpose: The study investigated the nature and significance of the communication experiences between nursing students and nurses in clinical practice and wanted to better understand them.
Methods: The collected data were analyzed, using Qualitative research and Colaizzi’s phenomenological method. The subjects were 9 nursing college students who had attended the clinical practice.
Results: The 2 theme clusters were extracted from 9 themes. The 2 theme clusters of communication experience between nursing students and nurses in the clinical practice are as follows : 1) communication attitude of nurses 2) Communication attitude of nursing students.
Conclusion: Communication skills are important in nursing. Based on the results of this study, a systematic training is required to make nursing students better communicators.
